Ft. prayers from Robert Eder & Cheryl Whiteman
This song was inspired by the Standing Rock movement in 2016. Cheryl and Robert are dear lakota elders & water protectors who were among the first to take a stand at Standing Rock in 2016, and continue to fight to protect their lands & waters for all the generations to come. Every day is a effort for survival for many natives across the country (and world) as they still must fight for basic human rights, such as access to shelter & food after generations of facing genocide. As the words say, they call for UNITY in these times, stressing that it is our responsibility to PROTECT the earth & we can only do it through cooperating as human kind.
